For the last 12 years, Sezis Thompson has been working for non-profit organisations and enterprises in the USA, London in roles ranging from events coordinator, project coordinator and project manager, and for the last five years, she has been part of the civil society in Cyprus working towards reconciliation through youth empowerment. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a Masters Degree in Finance and she is a certified project manager. She managed a project with a budget of 350,000 Euros funded by the UNDP-ACT between January 2012-July 2013. She is currently co-managing an European Union funded project called, Youthopia, with a budget of 377,000 Euros. She is a true believer in youth empowerment and entrepreneurship, and is founder of a start-up called Mystery Cyprus. She is also a co-founder of the first co-working space in northern part of Cyprus called Hive Cy.
Ebru Deniz Tekman, after gaining human resources management experience in telecommunications sector for more than eight years, Ebru Deniz Tekman started to work in the not-for-profit sector in 2008. She worked as project manager for EU and UNDP funded civil society projects in Cyprus, on participatory development, advocacy, gender mainstreaming, sustainable tourism, nature conservation and cultural heritage. Since 2009 she delivers training on personal development, management skills and human resources management topics as the managing partner of Penna Consultancy. She has human resources management, capacity building and project preperation consultancy experience in multinational and local companies, public and third sector organisations, in Cyprus, Turkey and Bulgaria for more than 15 years. Ebru graduated from Middle East Technical University Political Sciences and Public Administration Department, and she is a certified project manager.

Since 2003, I am also running my own company, Amalgama Information Management Ltd (www.aimcy.eu).
I have been working in e-learning projects, EU-funded projects, focusing mainly on ICT (design, -web- development, consulting), project management.
Since 2005, I have been involved into journalism; have contributed and edited a few ICT pages on Politis newspaper Sunday issue (Cyprus, www.politis.com.cy); other posts including editor of StudentStyle/StudentClick magazine; still contributing sporadically at «Κινητή Τηλεφωνία & Τηλεπικοινωνίες CY» (a mobile telecommunications magazine).
I spent two years of my life (along with my colleagues) working on the Open Cyprus Project (www.accessinfocyprus.eu) in regards to the Right of Access to Information in Cyprus (note: we don't have one in Cyprus). Although the project has finished we continue fighting for the good cause on any given opportunity.
I also have volunteer/NGO experience, being involved in NGOs such as the Socio-Political Studies institute (IKME - www.ikme.eu) and the Cyprus Community Media Center (CCMC - www.cypruscommunitymedia.org).

Didem Eroglu was born and raised in Nicosia, Cyprus. She has a BA in communication from EMU and a MSc degree on Environment and Development from University of Reading, UK. So far, she worked in media sector, events management and has international working experiences. Right now she is one of the editors of the J2M website and she works as a freelancer.
Shadi is an information system engineer graduated from Near East University in Nicosia. Since 2010 he has been working in communications and public relations, collect information, social media marketing and web design in many NGO’s such as Child Rights Society in Damascus and Syrian Education commission in their Nicosia branch. Also for two years he was working as social media specialist and event management specialist in the international office of Near East University. He currently has his own online social media marketing agency working with a team providing social media marketing strategies, SEO plans, ORM & PR plans. He has a long standing interest in human rights issues and have been a long term advocate of human rights in Syria and Middle Eastern countries. Right now he is working as a communication director on a program called Leap2peak which has been designed to provide students with structured training sessions, workshops and opportunities that will be focused on the development and practice of soft skills relevant to students through a "learning by doing" educational approach.
